She wasn't too difficult to spot. Her sweet surprisingly trusting face with belly protruding with birth intimate. I was on our twice yearly rescue visit to the local shelter to rescue only a few "lucky ones" before they would be statistics in the overwhelming flow of abandoned and discarded cats and kitten put to death each and every day throughout the world of "shelters, pounds and animal control centers in this country. A rude awakening to any outsider who does not comprehend the magnitude of our pet overpopulation problems.

Mouse who is a brother to Minnie was rescued from a "Feral Cat" colony in Dec. 2001, is not as skittish as his sister Minnie.

His mother was a "Feral Cat" living in a colony in Hobe Sound, Florida.  Mouse loves to eat! and has learned if he stands by the front door and stares at his owners long enough the door will get opened.  Likes to catch lizards and snakes. Mouse,  Minnie and Dark like to hang out together all the time. Mouse makes new cats feel welcome... like Sassea

Jan. 31, 2004 was a GREAT day at Domino's House. 5 kitties got adopted: Annie, Lilly, Loretta, Miska and Skittles. All of the folks were exceptional, especially the couple that adopted Anne (kitty who is going blind).  One couple adopted Miska (Siamese with one eye) and Lilly to keep her company.

OOPS! I have been corrected, 9 kitties were adopted this weekend! WOW THANKS all who came to the rescue!!! The other 4 include: Goldfish, Victoria, Gloria and (Alexia (was returned to Domino's House))

To: Florida Wildlife Commission

Dear Commissioners:

I would like to tell you a true story about a large company, a bunch of feral cats and a group of ordinary people. This story has a happy ending and I hope it will show you that all life is precious and deserves to be protected.

(Letter that was sent into Domino's house)

First of all I would really like to congratulate you for being such a great person by dedicating your life to rescuing cats. I find that so humane and really would like to thank you for that action, though not all people give so much love and dedication to animals.
